1. Take a balanced diet

For a healthy body, we need all nutrients – carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. A lack of any one of these can be breaker in your way to being healthy and fit. Focus on home-cooked foods and stay away from oily, spicy foods. Also, you should maintain a distance from processed and fast foods. For a healthy and fit life, you also need to keep yourself away from alcoholic, soft, and sweetened drinks. Prepare juices and drinks at your home to maintain distance from the same.   

2. Exercise daily

Being active is one of the best practical tips to stay healthy and fit. For staying healthy and fit, you don’t need to do the workouts of high intensity. You can go for running or jogging in the morning. Besides, you can opt for a brisk walk for around 30 minutes in the morning/evening. You can choose using stairs instead of using lifts or escalators in your building, office, or shopping complex. If you are determined to gain/lose weight or have a perfect body, you can do particular workouts in the right direction.

3. Have a sound sleep at night

Our body needs proper rest to function well. It is hard to mention how much you should sleep. Usually, a sleep of 6-8 hours is enough. However, you should sleep until you feel fresh after leaving your bed in the morning. For a sound sleep, take your dinner before two hours of your bed time. You should avoid taking alcoholic drinks, tea, or coffee late in the evening or at night, as it can create a hindrance in your sleep. Switch off lights and television set if you have installed it in your bedroom. Maintain a peaceful atmosphere and meditate for a few minutes before going to bed. 

4. Stay positive and motivated

We all know our life is not a bed of roses. You come across pain, illness, happiness, sorrows, and allied things in your life. Face the challenges what come in your way. Let any negative thought come into your mind. Be positive all the time. Faith in yourself and believe nothing is impossible in this world. You can easily carry the tasks of your professional as well as personal life. Be ready to take support from others if required.

5. Have a smile on your face

Being happy leads your way to stay healthy and fit. Having a smile makes you feel better from your inside and others happy. Whatever issues you have, let the same not to appear on your face. Focus on solving those issues instead of thinking of or being upset about them all the time.

6. Keep yourself hydrated

Water content in our body is around 75 per cent. It helps digestion and cleanses your body organs. An enough water intake flushes toxins out from your body through the skin and urine. It keeps your skin smooth. Take a water bottle with you and sip water when you feel thrust.

7. Try not to miss your breakfast in the morning

After a gap of 9-10 hours, breakfast is the first meal of a day. Avoid missing it. Whether you take a light or full breakfast, you should ensure that it has all the nutrients you need. You can take wet whole grains along with fruits and milk.
