About Us

Stay Young Healthy is a research-based blog about the science of aging well — nutrition, fitness, sleep, skin, and the everyday health questions people actually search for, from why you fart during a workout to whether apple cider vinegar really helps a sinus infection.

How we write

Every article starts from primary sources — peer-reviewed studies, clinical practice guidelines, and systematic reviews — not other blogs. Specific studies and their findings are verified against the original research before they’re cited, not repeated secondhand. Where the evidence is mixed, preliminary, or doesn’t support a popular claim, we say so directly rather than smoothing it over for a catchier headline.

What this site isn’t

A substitute for medical care. Articles here are written for general education. Anything touching a medical condition, medication, or treatment decision includes a reminder to talk to a qualified healthcare provider — we can tell you what the research says, not what’s right for your specific situation.

We correct mistakes publicly

When better evidence changes our understanding of something we’ve published — like the safety concerns we found with apple cider vinegar nasal rinses — we update the article and note the correction, rather than quietly leaving outdated advice live.
