Ingredients:-
- 1/2 cup refined oil
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 pinches powdered turmeric
- 8 green chilli
Method:-
- Slit the green chillies and keep the same aside after taking seeds out. Mash the potatoes with salt after boiling and peeling. Now add coriander leaves and chilli powder to the mashed potatoes and mix them well.
- Use the turmeric powder, the flour and salt to make a thick batter. Now, fill the chillies with the potato mix.
- Now dip the filled peppers in the batter to cover them. Fry the chillies covered with batter in the preheated oil until they turn golden. Now, the Mirchi Vada is ready and serve it hot with onion rings, chutney and beaten curd.
