Soya Bean, enriched in protein and low in cholesterol, is every vegetarian’s delight. The dishes prepared using soya beans are very tasty, nutritious and healthy. Its intake is highly recommended for growing child, heart patients and diabetic adults. In our series of fitness recipe, we have come up such a highly healthy and nutritious recipe – Soya Bean Cutlet. Collect all the mentioned ingredients to prepare and serve it to your family members.

Ingredients

  • 100g soaked soya nuggets
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 eggs (or besan powder)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Bread crumbs
  • Coriander leaves
  • One pinch of turmeric powder
  • Pepper (optional)
  • Salt for taste

Method

  • Peel and wash the potatoes before boiling them
  • Cut the carrot into small chunks after washing it with water
  • Batter an egg
  • Leaving the egg/besan batter aside, mix all the ingredients in a large bowl using your hand
  • By using your palms, make round patties
  • Put a thin layer of egg batter or besan batter on the round patties
  • Roll the patties having besan/egg batter in bread crumbs
  • Fry deeply and garnish with coriander
  • Serve the prepared cutlets hot
