UNEMPLOYMENT STRESS

It is hard to stay positive all around the day for a person when he/she is jobless or unemployed. He/she is in the hard clutch of uncertainty that break their mental peace. If someone around you is unemployed for a long or has recently lost his/her job, you can help them to come out of the situation. Here are some of the most ways to deal with unemployment stress:

  1. Have faith in them

When a person is jobless or unemployed, he/she loses his/her confidence. At this time, you can help him/her to realize that they will have a brighter future ahead even if the current time is bad. Enable him/her to be thankful for the things he/she has now and be prepared for the time that is to come.

  1. Call them over to your place

Try to give your company to him/her. Be generous to them and call them for lunches and dinners. With this, he/she will have a feeling that there is someone for them in this bad time.

  1. Listen to them patiently

As human beings, most of us have a habit to distribute our knowledge and not to listen to the persons before us. Do not do this, please. Go to him/her and listen to him/her they want to state to you.

  1. Stop crying about your job

I know you have your own set of problems, but you still have a job. Avoid talking about your job or other problems, as talking about your problems can make it worse for them.

  1. Be happy when you are around them

Humour is a great medicine and it helps a person to come out of any difficult situation. Support him/her let not to take the things seriously in this state. Even without having a job, there is a lot to enjoy the time and take steps to make the time better.

  1. Don’t judge him/her

Keep in mind that his/her life is different at this time and it is not an easy task for him/her to go through this state of uncertainty.

  1. Encourage him/her to take enough sunlight

Sunlight is capable of improving one’s mood and helps one to have sound sleep. Having sound sleep reduces stress. Take your friend out from home and go for a morning walk with him/her.

  1. Accept his/her feelings

He/she might not like to be open easily. Share the story or time when you were uncertain about your life and how you dealt with unemployment stress.

  1. Exercise with them

It is easy to deal with the situation when you feel good physically, mentally and emotionally. Therefore, encourage him/her to do some physical activities like jogging, running or light exercises.
