No odour is pleasant. We hate all odours. Most of us often come across odours in summer. The odour especially feet odour when you put off your shocks make the situation worse for you at home or workplace. To avoid such a situation, you need to take care of your feet and shocks as well. Here are some simple home remedies for smelly feet:
Wash your feet well
Many of you (men) do not know how to wash your feet. For proper feet wash, use an antifungal or antibacterial soap. Pay attention to spaces between toes. After washing your feet, let them dry well. This will help you get rid of smelly feet.
Soak your feet in different solutions
Pour some solution like Listerine, Epsom salts, vinegar or tea in a large pot and soak your feet in it. This helps you counter microbial growth and get rid of smelly feet. Before using Epsom salt, consult your doctor. For vinegar, make a solution using two parts of water and one part of vinegar. For tea solution, place 4-5 tea bags in warm water. For Listerine, use two parts of warm water and one part of Listerine.
Use powders
Using powders is a quick fix of smelly feet. Whether you have baby powders, antifungal/antibacterial powders, cornstarch, baking soda or even old talcum powders, they work great and help you to get rid of your smelly feet. It happens, as these powders keep your feet dry and prevent moisture formation. Therefore, there is no odour formation. Use some powder before putting your feet on shocks.
Maintain shock-shoe hygiene
Ensure that the socks you wear are clean and dry and are made of breathable and light material. Avoid wearing a pair of shocks for two days in a row and wash the shocks after wearing them once. In addition, wear different pairs of shoes on different days. Use baking soda to deodorize the insoles of your shoes very often.
