Is your busy schedule a barrier to your healthy eating? Don’t worry as we have come up with 4 simple salads recipes in our series of fitness recipes. Being light on calories, salads keep you healthy and full.

1. Boiled egg salad – ideal for breakfast

Mix mayo, a tinge of mustard sauce, salt and pepper. Stir in coarsely chopped hard-boiled eggs and some baby corn. This tasty salad makes for a good and filling breakfast.

2. Grilled chicken caeser salad – perfect for the afternoon craving

Marinate the chicken from Italian herbs and olive oil and grill it and cut it into pieces. Mix 1/4 a teaspoon pepper, vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic and mustard in a large bowl; and toss it well to coat. Add lettuce and a tablespoon cheese to top it.

3. Greek cucumber salad – cooler for the evening

Mix some vinegar soaked onion slices, chopped cucumber, olives and cottage cheese. Dress the salad with olive oil and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper. Add two green chillies slit into halves, and you are all set for a tangy, spicy and fresh salad snack for evening.

4. Zesty pasta salad – suitable for supper

Boil macaroni and broccoli together; drain them and rinse with cold water. Stir pasta with broccoli, boiled chicken pieces and grape tomatoes into a dressing of olive oil, vinegar and mint leaves paste. Refrigerate it for a while and a delightfully healthy dinner is ready.
