When you (women) are pregnant, you need to take utmost care of your health and fitness. In order to keep you fit, Stay Young has come up with 3 simple exercises in its series of fitness exercise. You can easily take these exercises at your home.
1. Back stretch
It is a very simple exercise and you can easily do it. This will strengthen your upper back and neck as well. To do it, you need to sit straight on your heels and keep the knees very close. Breathe in, place your palms behind the heels on the floor and stretch backward from your stomach. Raise your neck towards the ceiling. Be in this position for a minute and come back to the original position while breathing out.
2. Thigh stretch
Beneficial for your inner thighs and core, this is very easy to do. Lie down on your right side and use your forearm to support your head. Keep your left leg straight and bend your right leg to make an angle of 45 degrees. Bring your left leg up to your hip height. Change the side and repeat.
3. Sit ups
Performing Sit Ups improves your body balance and strengthens hamstrings and quadriceps. To take sit ups, stand straight keeping your feet parallel and use your hands to get the support of a chair. Lower your torso and bow your knees while keeping the back straight. Stay in this position for a while and slowly come back to the original position.
